Overview
Students will learn about famous abstract artists as well as creating their own original artwork. Students will participate by painting along with the instructor while learning various techniques and methods used for creating abstract art.
The classroom will be a non-formal setting where students are encouraged to engage with one another and the instructor in a creative environment.

Meet the instructor
Alexandra Johnston
B.A. in Western Literature and Certificate from Hochstein School of Music. Alex worked as a teacher for more than 10 years, teaching the violin and guitar as well as working as a TA in college, teaching World Literature. Alex is best selling author of the book On Fire and Roses, a concert trained violinist, and a professional abstract artist.
