A complete course on drawing designed for beginner artists. These weekly workshops cover knowledge and techniques for the beginner artist to develop their drawing skills. Elements of art, materials, linear perspective, informative critiques, art history are some of the topics covered.

Meet the instructor

Jeffrey Nihiser

Jeffrey is a licensed K-12 art teacher from North Carolina. He has been teaching publicly and privately for nine years. His philosophy is that art is a deeply personal endeavor, and it is his responsibility to provide the student with the right guidance and knowledge so they can create their own visual language. Prior to becoming an art instructor, he worked in the graphic arts for over twenty years as a designer, illustrator, and art director. He is a member of the Portrait Society of America. Father to two boys (one adult and one almost), he is originally from the St. Louis area..."I draw constantly, it's like that kid who can't sit still in class"
